FIRST Nevada

FIRST® Nevada provides STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) programs to K-12 students in NV.
Our mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities. The acronym FIRST stands for “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology.” By incorporating hands-on robotic projects with math, science, and engineering principles, we seek to inspire young people to further explore new and developing technologies and develop leadership and communication skills. Our four program levels include options for children of all grades, from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
