Elementary Science Olympiad 2019
The Science Olympiad is a STEM competition open to teams of twelve, third through fifth grade students in Elementary Schools from the state of Nevada. Teams meet before or after school to practice 10 different events showcased at the competition. The competition is a fun, hands-on, and exciting way to get students interested in science. Students may earn medals for placing 1st through 4th place in different events. School trophies are given for 1st through 4th place overall. The fee for competing is $60 which covers all costs of the event and materials needed for the competition. The Elementary Science Olympiad 2019, will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Clark HS located at 4291 Pennwood Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89102.
