Wetlands Park

The Clark County Wetlands Park provides lush habitats for over 300 species of plants and animals while improving the quality of our water supply. Their award-winning Education programs teach youngsters and adults about wildlife and the ecology of the Las Vegas Wash through engaging, interactive programs that promote a sense of place and a connection to nature. Our offerings for adults, families, children, students and teachers include guided discovery walks, family programs, events, art, recreation programs, and opportunities to be involved in meaningful stewardship projects.

Young Women in Engineering Summer Camp

For young women only! An introduction to engineering including lessons, hands-on activities, and mentoring from professional female engineers, university faculty, alumni, and current engineering students.

The curriculum for this camp is very similar to the Introduction to Engineering and MESA camps, and it is not recommended that students attend more than one.

Ages: 12 – 15
