UNLV's College of Engineering is hosting a GenCyber camp June 5, 6, 7, 10, and 11. GenCyber is a cybersecurity summer camp for high school students in Southern Nevada. The goal of the program is to help students understand correct and safe online behavior, how they can be good digital citizens, and increase interest in cybersecurity careers. Each day, students will participate in multiple hands-on activities to learn about different topics in cybersecurity and hear interesting stories from cybersecurity experts. Due to generous sponsors, there is no cost for this program. Students will have to provide their own transportation.
Students MUST COMMIT to attending all 5 days of the program. An essay and an endorsing teacher name and email are required on the application.
Please see the information flyer https://bit.ly/2YknuCw which includes the link to apply.
