Science + Fiction in Space with a special effects lab, new Virtual Reality programs, an exclusive dome show and sci-fi movies for this Science Saturday.

Discover science fiction adventures in space and time -- from George Melies' "Voyage to the Moon" to the first sci-fi film actually shot in space -- by a Challenger Center board member and spaceflight participant!

*Make sci-fi special effects videos in a hands-on workshop

*Find out more about our upcoming event with Heidi and Rod Roddenberry, of Star Trek fame

*And experience future space travels in an exclusive digital dome screening of "Great Planet Adventures!"


This exciting program allows participants to discover potential extreme adventure sports on Mercury and Mars to the moons of Jupiter and beyond!

In addition, participants will get Astronaut ID cards for the "Be the Astronaut" space exhibit, described by USA Today as one of 12 must-see exhibits in the country!

Ages: 8 and up. Participants aged  8 to 12 must be accompanied by an adult. One parent per family or group of up to six friends.
