This camp offers an introduction to programming and engineering. Students will be exposed to the ideas behind using computer as tools, basic algorithmic concepts using the C/C++ programming language(s), simple electronics circuits, and design practices by thinking of their programs as state machines. Students will apply their knowledge and skills using the Arduino platform. The first pat of the camp is spent learning; the second part is spent working on a project of the student's design.
Camps run Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Students meet in the Harry Reid Engineering Lab (HREL) at the University of Nevada, Reno campus.
