Civil & Environmental Engineering Camp

This camp introduces students to some of the main areas within civil and environmental engineering, including earthquake engineering, geotechnical engineering and transportation engineering. Students will also conduct experiments in water treatment, soil liquefaction, and bridge building.

This camp is hosted in collaboration with SOLARIS, a Tier 1 University Transportation Center focused on addressing regional transportation and infrastructure issues.

Camps run Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Students meet in the Harry Reid Engineering Lab (HREL) at the University of Nevada, Reno campus.
