Astronaut is a revealing science exhibit that investigates the reality of what it takes to be a space explorer through interactive experiences. 

Your journey begins on earth! From the moon landings to the Mars One project, astronauts have become synonymous with adventure, exploration and endeavor. Discover what it takes to be a space explorer at Astronaut.

Explore hands-on displays and interactive experiences including:

  • Donning your very own flight suit and taking a spin in our ‘centrifuge’ capsule.
  • Climbing into a rocket and experiencing what it feels like to blast into space.
  • Examining test rock samples for magnetism and radioactivity using a mock Geiger counter.
  • Viewing live footage of astronauts on board the International Space Station.

Astronaut will be open daily, June 12 - September 17, 2017 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm in the Origen Museum

Admission: Free for members or with paid general admission
